(This is a very strange, patchy account of my life -- not to be taken too seriously. I had some issues with sizing the pics too, sorry. Maybe you shared some of the same times, or the same badges? A great badge collectors' site here:

I had loads of the ones that you have. Lord knows where they've gone. They were housed on a rather unattractive beanie hat in my teens which I wore lots. No wonder I had trouble luring in the lads! x
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I still have all my rock band badges from that era. Occasionally I wear one to work on my jacket lapel and confuse everyone "The Jam? What does that mean?"
ReplyDeleteWell that was a joyous ride through the decades Jane. That's the first time I've ever seen anyone who can remember Aztec bars - sorry to be so common as to immediately highlight the chocolate bar - but I loved them so. Life ended when they were taken off the shelves.... well, hardly , but if I'd know there was a badge for them I'd have wanted it! Yesterday,as I'm still a bit of a pleb, we had breakfast in a Little Chef, and I noticed they had small blue badges like these in a dish on the counter. I presumed they were for children and did wonder who would want one. You've given me a clue......
ReplyDeleteThat was a wonderful trip down memory lane! I had two Blue Peter badges but I have no idea what happened to either of them.
